Evri Tracking
Evri tracking helps you check the latest status of your parcel, return, or collection. Evri is the courier formerly known as Hermes (and MyHermes), so older “Hermes” parcels track here too. Enter your Evri tracking number to view parcel progress, delivery updates, courier scans, attempted delivery details, and final delivery information.
Track Your Evri
Enter your Evri tracking number to check delivery progress and jump straight to the carrier's official tracking page.
How Evri Tracking Works
Evri tracking shows the journey of your parcel through the Evri delivery network. The result can show when Evri receives the parcel, sorts it, sends it to a depot, gives it to a courier, attempts delivery, or marks it as delivered. Don’t worry if updates aren’t constant — Evri scans at key handover points rather than every mile, so a few quiet hours between scans is completely normal.
- Find your Evri tracking number in your order email, seller account, return email, or receipt.
- Enter the number into the tracking box.
- Check the latest parcel status, delivery progress, and scan history.
- Use the latest message to decide whether to wait, divert the parcel, check a safe place, or contact support.
Where to Find Your Evri Tracking Number
You can find your Evri tracking number in your dispatch email, online order page, seller dashboard, Evri account, return confirmation email, ParcelShop receipt, Locker receipt, or courier collection confirmation.
If you bought something online, check the retailer’s delivery email first. For returns, check the return confirmation email or the receipt you received after dropping off the parcel.
Evri Tracking Number Format
An Evri tracking number is usually 16 characters long and a mix of letters and numbers — not 16 plain digits, which is a common misconception. Many begin with a letter such as H (a leftover from the Hermes days), for example a reference shaped like H0… followed by more letters and numbers. Some return receipts or delivery cards may show a different reference, so copy the number exactly as the retailer or Evri provides it.
If your number is only digits, or 13 characters ending in “GB”, it may belong to another carrier (a 13-character “GB” code is usually Royal Mail or Parcelforce). If Evri does not recognise the number, remove extra spaces and check that you copied a tracking number, not an order number. Still stuck? See our guide on a tracking number that’s not working.
Track an Evri Parcel by Number, Postcode, or Order
There’s more than one way to check an Evri parcel, which helps if you can’t find the tracking number itself:
- By tracking number — paste it into the tracker above or the official Evri page for the full history.
- By postcode — Evri lets you look up a parcel using your delivery postcode alongside the tracking reference, useful if part of the number is hard to read.
- Through the retailer — your order page with the seller often mirrors the latest Evri status, so try there if you’ve lost the number.
- In the Evri app — the app shows delivery updates and, on the day, an estimated delivery window and (for many routes) a map of your courier’s progress.
Does Evri have live tracking?
On delivery day, Evri often shows a live estimated time window and courier map in the app or on the tracking page. Between depots, though, tracking updates in steps at each scan rather than continuously — so a parcel that’s quiet for a few hours is usually just moving between facilities, not lost.
Evri Was Formerly Hermes and MyHermes
If you’re searching for “Hermes tracking”, “MyHermes”, or you typed “Evei”, “Evry”, or “Every” — it’s all the same company. Hermes rebranded to Evri in 2022, and the old MyHermes send-a-parcel service is now simply Evri. Your tracking works exactly the same way; only the name and logo changed. Older Hermes tracking numbers (often starting with H) still track fine on the Evri system, so there’s no need to hunt for a separate “Hermes” tracker.
Common Evri Tracking Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| We’re Expecting It | The sender created parcel details, but Evri may still need to receive the parcel. |
| We’ve Got It | Evri received the parcel and added it to the delivery network. |
| At the Depot | The parcel reached an Evri depot for sorting or local delivery preparation. |
| On Its Way | The parcel moves through the Evri network or travels toward the next depot. |
| With Your Courier | The local courier has the parcel and plans to deliver it. |
| Out for Delivery | The parcel should arrive soon, depending on the courier route and delivery window. |
| Delivered | Evri marked the parcel as delivered to the address, safe place, neighbour, or pickup point. |
| Delivery Attempted | The courier tried to deliver the parcel but could not complete delivery. |
| Delayed | The parcel needs more time because of depot issues, route delays, weather, address problems, or another interruption. |
| Returned to Sender | The parcel moves back to the sender or retailer. |
Evri tracking updates can arrive after a courier scan, depot scan, ParcelShop scan, Locker scan, return scan, or delivery attempt. Check again later if the parcel moved recently but the tracking page has not refreshed. For the full glossary, see In Transit, Out for Delivery, Delivery Attempted, Delivered, and Returned to Sender.
Evri Parcel Codes Explained (CUB01, CBT1, Gateway, Hub)
Evri tracking sometimes shows short codes or place-names instead of a plain status — things like CUB01, CBT1, CBT2, a “gateway“, a “processing hub“, or a number such as 4334. Don’t panic when you see these: they’re Evri’s internal sorting-location and hub labels, not error messages. They simply tell you which facility scanned your parcel as it moved through the network.
- CUB01 / CBT1 / CBT2 and similar codes — internal names for Evri sorting hubs or depots. Seeing one means your parcel was scanned there and is still moving.
- Gateway — a large sortation site where parcels are grouped for onward transport, common on international and long-distance parcels.
- Processing / at the hub — your parcel is being sorted, ready to be sent to your local depot and courier.
- Numeric codes (e.g. 4334) — usually a facility or route reference rather than anything you need to act on.
These codes are only a concern if your parcel sits at the same hub for several days with no new scan — in that case, treat it like any stalled parcel and follow the steps in Why Is My Tracking Not Updating? or package stuck in transit.
How Long Does Evri Take to Deliver?
Delivery time depends on the service the sender chose. As a rough guide, Evri’s standard UK service typically takes a few working days, while next-day and two-day options are faster. International parcels take longer and pass through customs. The retailer’s dispatch email usually names the service and an estimated delivery date, and the Evri tracking page shows the most up-to-date estimate once the parcel is scanned.
“We’ve got it” — how long until it’s delivered?
Once Evri says “We’ve Got It”, the parcel is in the network and usually delivered within the service’s normal window (often the next couple of working days for standard UK parcels). It’s normal for tracking to sit on this status for a day or so while the parcel is sorted.
What time does Evri deliver, and are they delivering today?
Evri delivers seven days a week in many areas, typically from early morning until early evening. The latest delivery time varies by round and season (later during busy periods like Christmas). On delivery day, the app shows your estimated time window and courier progress — that’s the most reliable answer to “is it coming today?” If a promised day passes with no attempt, see package delayed.
Why Is Evri Tracking Not Updating?
Evri tracking can stop updating when the sender has created parcel details but Evri has not received the parcel yet. It can also pause during depot sorting, courier handover, return processing, busy delivery periods, or local route delays. Short gaps are usually nothing to worry about.
- Double-check the tracking number against the retailer’s email.
- Try tracking by postcode as well as by number.
- Check whether the retailer has actually dispatched the parcel yet.
- Give it 24–48 hours — most stalled parcels start scanning again on their own.
- Still stuck? Read Why Is My Tracking Not Updating? and Delivery Exception Meaning.
Is Evri tracking down?
Occasionally the Evri website or app has a wobble and tracking won’t load. If the page errors rather than showing your parcel, wait an hour and try again, or check your status through the retailer’s order page in the meantime. A site outage doesn’t affect your actual parcel — it keeps moving even when the tracker is temporarily unavailable.
Evri Says Delivered but Parcel Not Received
If Evri tracking says delivered but you cannot find the parcel, check your safe place, porch, letterbox area, garage, reception desk, parcel locker, neighbours, and anyone else at your address. Look for a delivery photo, courier note, or safe-place message in the tracking details — it often shows exactly where the courier left it.
Give it a few hours in case the “delivered” scan landed early. If it’s still missing, follow our Evri-specific guide on an Evri parcel delivered but not received, plus the general steps in delivered but not received and how to read proof of delivery.
Where Is My Evri Parcel? Missing or Delayed Parcels
If your Evri parcel is genuinely stuck or missing, here’s the order we’d tackle it in — most cases are solved well before the last step:
- Re-check the latest tracking scan and any message from Evri.
- Wait out short delays — 24–48 hours resolves most stalls.
- Contact the retailer first for anything you bought online; they own the delivery contract and can chase or resend.
- Contact Evri if the parcel clearly entered the network and then stalled or shows a delivery problem.
- If it’s confirmed lost, ask the retailer to file a claim or refund — see package lost and how to file a shipping claim.
Our general where is my package guide walks through the same process for any carrier, and out for delivery but not delivered covers the frustrating “it never came” day.
Evri Delivery Attempted Meaning
Delivery attempted means the courier tried to deliver your parcel but could not complete the delivery. This can happen when no one answers, access fails, the address needs more detail, or the courier cannot leave the parcel safely.
Check the tracking result for the next delivery attempt, diversion options, collection details, or instructions from the retailer. You can read more in our Delivery Attempted meaning guide.
Evri Tracking Number Not Recognised
If Evri does not recognise your tracking number, the sender may not have handed over the parcel yet. You may also have copied an order number, return number, or incomplete reference instead of the Evri tracking number.
Copy the number again from the dispatch email or receipt. If it still does not work, ask the retailer or sender to confirm the tracking number and delivery service, and see our guide on a tracking number not working.
Evri ParcelShop, Locker, Return, and Collection Tracking
Evri handles a huge share of UK returns and collections, and each has its own tracking. Whether you dropped a parcel at a ParcelShop, used a Locker, printed a label or QR code, or booked a doorstep collection, you can follow it the same way as an outbound parcel. Keep your receipt or confirmation email until the parcel reaches the retailer or recipient.
- Returns tracking — your return has its own Evri reference on the label, QR code, or drop-off receipt. Track it to confirm the retailer received it before you expect a refund.
- ParcelShop drop-off — after handing a parcel to a ParcelShop, keep the receipt; its reference lets you track the parcel through the network.
- Evri Lockers — for locker drop-offs and collections you’ll get a code; see our parcel locker tracking guide for how locker parcels update.
- Home collection — if you booked a courier to collect from your door, tracking starts once the courier scans the parcel on pickup.
For returns, tracking may update when you drop off the parcel, when Evri collects it, when it reaches a depot, and when the retailer receives it. Retailers may take extra time to confirm the return after delivery, so give it the full transit time before chasing — then contact the retailer with your drop-off or collection proof.
Evri International Tracking
Evri international tracking (including services many shoppers know as Evri International or Global Standard) can show parcel collection, UK processing, export movement, customs checks, partner carrier scans, delivery attempts, and final delivery. International parcels may slow down during customs, airline transfer, border checks, or local delivery handoff, and the final leg is often tracked by a local carrier in the destination country.
If an international parcel goes quiet at a “gateway” or customs stage, that’s normal — see customs clearance and package stuck in customs. If it stops updating well past the delivery estimate, contact the sender or Evri support for next steps.
Is Evri Reliable? What Shoppers Should Know
Evri is one of the UK’s largest parcel carriers, delivering hundreds of millions of parcels a year, so the vast majority arrive without a hitch. Like any high-volume courier, it also attracts plenty of reviews and complaints online — usually about occasional delays, “delivered” scans for parcels that turn up a bit later, or hard-to-reach support. Knowing that helps you act calmly and quickly:
- Keep your tracking number and any drop-off or collection receipt — they’re your proof if something goes wrong.
- Use the delivery photo before assuming a parcel is lost; it resolves most “delivered but missing” cases.
- For online orders, remember the retailer is responsible for getting your item to you — they’re your fastest route to a refund or resend.
- Don’t wait too long: report a genuinely missing parcel to the retailer within their claim window.
Watch Out for Fake Evri Texts and Emails
Because Evri is so widely used, it’s a favourite target for scammers. Fake “Evri” texts and emails often claim you owe a small redelivery or customs fee and link to a copycat site that steals your card details. Real Evri tracking never asks for payment by text to release a normal parcel. If a message feels off, don’t tap the link — check the parcel through the tracker above or the official Evri site instead, and read package delivery scam texts, fake tracking numbers, and tracking number scams.

Evri Tracking FAQs
How do I track an Evri parcel?
Enter your Evri tracking number into a tracking tool. Then check the latest parcel status, courier scans, delivery message, and delivery options.
Where is my Evri tracking number?
Check your dispatch email, retailer order page, Evri account, return confirmation email, ParcelShop receipt, Locker receipt, or courier collection confirmation.
Is Evri the same as Hermes?
Yes. Hermes rebranded to Evri in 2022, and the old MyHermes send service is now Evri too. Older Hermes tracking numbers still work on the Evri system, so you don’t need a separate Hermes tracker.
What does an Evri tracking number look like?
It’s usually 16 characters — a mix of letters and numbers, often starting with a letter such as H — not 16 plain digits. You’ll find it in your retailer’s dispatch email, your order page, or an Evri drop-off or collection receipt.
Can I track my Evri parcel by postcode?
Yes. Evri lets you look up a parcel using your delivery postcode along with the tracking reference, which is handy if part of the number is hard to read.
What do codes like CUB01, CBT1, or “gateway” mean?
They’re Evri’s internal sorting-hub and depot labels, not errors. Seeing one means your parcel was scanned at that facility and is still moving. Only worry if the same code sits there for several days with no new scan.
How long does Evri take to deliver?
Standard UK parcels usually arrive within a few working days, with faster next-day and two-day options available. The retailer’s dispatch email names the service and estimated date, and the tracker updates the estimate once the parcel is scanned.
Why does Evri tracking say we’re expecting it?
This message usually means the sender created the parcel details, but Evri still needs to receive or scan the parcel.
What does with your courier mean on Evri?
With your courier means the local courier has the parcel and plans to deliver it. Delivery timing depends on the courier route and local conditions.
Why is my Evri tracking number not working?
The parcel may not have its first scan yet, or you may have copied the wrong reference. Check the dispatch email again and ask the retailer to confirm the number if needed.
What should I do if Evri says delivered but I have no parcel?
Check your safe place, porch, neighbours, reception desk, parcel locker, delivery photo, and anyone at your address. Contact Evri and the retailer if you still cannot find it.
How do I track an Evri return or ParcelShop drop-off?
Your return has its own Evri reference on the label, QR code, or drop-off receipt. Track it the same way as any parcel to confirm the retailer received it, and keep the receipt as proof.
