If you ordered from eBay, AliExpress, or another overseas store, 4PX may be carrying your parcel across borders — and then handing it to your local postal service or a courier for the final delivery. That handoff is why 4PX tracking often goes quiet for a stretch and then springs back to life once the parcel reaches your country. In most cases, silence means “in transit,” not “lost.”
How to Track a 4PX Package
- Copy the tracking number from the seller, marketplace order page, or shipping email.

What 4PX Is and How Long It Takes
4PX is a cross-border logistics provider, not your local mail carrier. It runs several service levels and partners with airlines, postal operators, and couriers, so delivery times vary a lot:
- Economy / ordinary line: the cheapest and slowest, with limited scans — commonly 15–40 days internationally.
- Registered / tracked line: more reliable scans, typically 10–25 days.
- Expedited / dedicated lines: faster country-specific routes, roughly 7–15 days.
These are typical ranges rather than guarantees. Customs and busy shopping periods (Singles’ Day, Black Friday, Chinese New Year) can add one to three weeks — and Chinese New Year in particular slows China’s whole logistics network for a week or two.
4PX Tracking Statuses Explained
- Shipment info received / Order created: the label exists but the parcel hasn’t been collected yet.
- Picked up / Accepted: 4PX now has the parcel and the number is active.
- Departed / Export: it’s left the origin hub for the international leg.
- Arrived at destination country / Customs: it’s in your country and may be in import processing — here’s what customs clearance means.
- Handed over to local carrier: 4PX’s job is done; your national post or a courier delivers from here.
Why 4PX Tracking Is Not Updating
Longer gaps are normal for international economy shipping. 4PX tracking often pauses while the parcel waits for export, travels between countries, clears customs, or moves to a local delivery partner — and international packages simply have bigger gaps than domestic ones. What to Do If 4PX Tracking Stays Stuck
- Check whether the seller gave you the correct carrier name — the number might belong to a different carrier.
- Look for a local tracking number after customs clearance, and try it on your national carrier.

When 4PX Hands Your Parcel to a Local Carrier
4PX rarely delivers to your door itself. Once your parcel arrives, delivery is completed by your national postal service or a final-mile courier — for example USPS in the United States, Royal Mail in the UK, Canada Post, or Australia Post. When you see “handed over to local carrier,” the 4PX record may stop updating while the local carrier shows the last “out for delivery” and “delivered” scans. Tracking 4PX Orders From eBay and AliExpress
4PX carries a lot of marketplace orders, and the marketplace is your fastest route to a fix:

- AliExpress: track from your order and watch the Buyer Protection countdown — open a dispute before it expires if the parcel is very late or stuck.
Whatever the store, contact the seller first and raise a dispute before the buyer-protection window closes — that’s what protects your refund.
