YunExpress Tracking
YunExpress tracking follows cross-border parcels shipped through YunExpress, a Chinese logistics company that many online stores — especially direct-to-consumer brands and marketplaces like SHEIN — use to ship worldwide. Most YunExpress numbers start with YT followed by a long string of digits. YunExpress carries your parcel across borders and then hands it to a local courier or postal service for delivery, so the tracking style usually changes once it reaches your country. A quiet spell in the middle almost always means “in transit,” not “lost.”

How to Track a YunExpress Package
- Copy the tracking number from your store order page or shipping email.
- Check the format — most YunExpress numbers start with YT (for example YT2512345678901234).
- Enter it above, or open the official YunExpress / Yuntrack tracking page for the full history.
- Look for a final-mile carrier once the parcel reaches your country.
- Check USPS, Royal Mail, Evri, Canada Post, or another local carrier if a handoff number appears.
Not sure YunExpress is your carrier? Paste the number into the box above and we’ll point you to the right one. If the number won’t load at all, our guide on a tracking number that isn’t working covers the usual causes.
What YunExpress Is and How Long It Takes
YunExpress is a cross-border logistics provider, not your local mail carrier. It’s popular with online brands partly because it’s often quicker than traditional postal mail, but times still depend on the service and destination:
- Standard line: the most common option — typically 7–15 days to the US and UK.
- Economy line: cheaper with fewer scans, usually 10–20 days.
- Expedited / dedicated lines: faster country-specific routes when the store offers them.
Treat these as typical ranges, not guarantees. Customs and busy shopping periods (Singles’ Day, Black Friday, Chinese New Year) can add one to three weeks, and Chinese New Year slows China’s logistics network for a week or two.
YunExpress Tracking Statuses Explained
- Order created / Shipment info received: the label exists but the parcel may not be scanned yet.
- Picked up / Accepted: YunExpress now has the parcel and the number is live.
- Departed / Export: it’s left the origin hub for the international (flight) leg.
- Arrived at destination country / Customs: it’s in your country and may be in import processing — here’s what customs clearance means.
- Handed over to local carrier / Delivered to postal operator: YunExpress’s job is done; a local courier or post delivers from here.
Why YunExpress Tracking Is Not Updating
Gaps are normal, especially on economy lines. YunExpress tracking often pauses during export processing, the flight between countries, customs clearance, or the handoff to a local carrier — and a gap rarely means the package is lost; it usually means the parcel is between scan points. If it’s been a while, our guide on tracking that isn’t updating explains what to do and what’s just normal waiting. If it looks frozen mid-journey, package stuck in transit covers that case.
What to Do Next
- Check the store order page for a second, local tracking number — the final-mile leg often has its own.
- Wait a little longer if the package recently left China or just entered customs.
- Read Why Is My Tracking Not Updating? if there are no new scans.
- Read Package Stuck in Customs if it’s waiting for import clearance.
- If it shows delivered but nothing arrived, see delivered but not received.
- Contact the seller if YunExpress has no first scan or the delivery window has passed.
When YunExpress Hands Your Parcel to a Local Carrier
YunExpress rarely delivers to your door itself. Once your parcel arrives, delivery is completed by a local courier or postal service — for example USPS in the United States; Royal Mail or Evri in the UK; Canada Post; or Australia Post. When you see “handed over to local carrier,” the YunExpress record may stop updating while the local carrier shows the final “out for delivery” and “delivered” scans. A new local tracking number may also appear on your order — use that with the local carrier if the YT number goes quiet after arrival. If nothing moves for a long time, read where is my package.
Tracking YunExpress Orders From SHEIN and Online Stores
Many YunExpress parcels come from clothing and lifestyle stores, and the store is your fastest route to a fix:
- SHEIN: track from your account first; the YunExpress number is the shipping leg. If it stalls, see SHEIN tracking not updating and SHEIN order tracking.
- Other online stores: contact the store’s support if the delivery window has clearly passed — most refund or reship a lost order.
Whatever the store, contact the seller first and raise any claim before the store’s protection window closes — that’s what protects your refund.
YunExpress and Other China Cross-Border Carriers
YunExpress often works alongside other Chinese logistics services, and your parcel may pass between them. If your tracking mentions a different name, these guides may help: China Post, Yanwen, Cainiao, and 4PX.

YunExpress Tracking FAQs
Why does YunExpress tracking stop after arrival in my country?
The parcel is usually waiting for customs clearance or a local carrier handoff. Check whether the tracking page names a final-mile carrier, and look for a local tracking number on your order.
Who delivers YunExpress packages locally?
It depends on the destination and service. In the US it’s often USPS; in the UK it may be Royal Mail or Evri; in Canada, Canada Post. The final carrier is named once the parcel reaches your country.
How long does YunExpress take to deliver?
The standard line is typically 7–15 days to the US and UK, and economy 10–20 days. Customs and peak shopping periods can add one to three weeks.
What does a YT tracking number mean?
A number starting with “YT” is a YunExpress shipment. Track it on YunExpress/Yuntrack for the international legs, and on your local carrier once it arrives.
