DX Delivery Tracking

DX Delivery tracking helps you check the status of a DX parcel, calling card number, consignment number, customer reference, or delivery attempt. DX is a UK carrier that moves everything from letters and legal documents to larger, higher-value, and two-person items, which is why it uses several reference types instead of a single tracking number. Use this page when DX tracking is delayed, not updating, out for delivery, or marked delivered.

How DX Delivery Tracking Works

DX tracking can use several reference types, including a tracking number, calling card number, consignment number, or customer reference. The tracking page shows parcel progress as DX receives, processes, routes, attempts, or completes delivery. Which reference you have depends on the DX service and the sender, so it’s worth trying each one you were given.

Where to find your DX tracking details

  • DX delivery email or text message
  • Calling card left after a missed delivery
  • Retailer dispatch email
  • Consignment number from the sender
  • Customer reference from your order details

DX Express, DX Freight and Two-Person Deliveries

DX runs different services, and knowing yours sets the right expectation. DX Express handles parcels, documents, and next-day items (including secure and legal deliveries). DX Freight handles larger, heavier, irregular, and two-person (“2-man”) items such as furniture and equipment, often on a booked delivery. Larger and two-person deliveries usually need someone present and clear access, so watch for a booking or slot message as well as the standard scans.

Why DX Delivery Tracking Is Not Updating

DX tracking can stop updating when the parcel waits for its first scan, moves between depots, needs a delivery card reference, or hasn’t reached the next public update point. For the full breakdown, see our guide on DX tracking not updating.

Calling card tip

If DX left a calling card, use the card details exactly as shown. The card may unlock redelivery, collection, or support options that a normal order reference doesn’t show — and it’s often the fastest way to rearrange a missed delivery.

DX Delivered But Not Received

If DX says delivered but the parcel is missing, check the delivery proof, reception area, neighbours, safe place, delivery card, and anyone at the address. Give it a few hours in case the scan came early, then contact the sender if it’s still missing. Our guide on DX delivered but not received has the full steps.

DX Delivery Tracking FAQs

Can I track DX with a calling card number?

Yes. DX says its tracking page can use a calling card number, tracking number, consignment number, or customer reference.

Why does my DX reference not work?

The reference may be new, typed incorrectly, or not active yet. Try the calling card number or consignment number if you have one.

What if DX attempted delivery?

Check your calling card and the DX tracking page for redelivery, collection, or contact options. For larger items, the delivery may need rebooking with someone present.
